The Museum of Fine Arts is offering an exhibit of landscape paintings by the Swiss artist, Courbet. This ladies’ outing is planned for Thursday, September 7 at 10:00 am since it will be a free day to attend the museum. For those interested, we may catch a light lunch at Café Express. We could arrange for some carpooling to make this very affordable. Please sign up for this cultural experience and fun time together. Judy Servidio’s email: jdyservid at yahoo.com

The next Men’s Leadership Club will be held at Broze Hall on Sunday, August 27, beginning at 10:00 am. Please see Mr. Rob Stanchi for assignments.
The Second Annual UCG Houston Live Music Festival will be held Sunday, September 3. There is no charge for admission. Concessions will be sold to cover festival costs. Ten bands will provide music starting at 10:00 am and ending approximately 9:00 pm. We expect a larger crowd this year so come early and stake out a space. Please bring extra lawn chairs or blankets to share with out of town guests - we expect 40 to 50 attendees from out of town. If you have a canopy you are welcome to erect it on the lawn. If you wish to loan your canopy for use at the festival please see David Buchanan and bring it to church September 2.
Please volunteer to help with these duties that all of us appreciate. The lists will be available today through September 16.
