Birth Announcement - Emma Nicole Stevens

Joshua and Melissa Stevens would like to announce the birth of Emma Nicole, born Monday, August 28 at 10:35 am (7 lbs., 13 oz., 20” long).

Joshua writes: “She’s got some little feet that are sweeter than a honeybee in the Blue Bell creamery. Thankfully she has Melissa’s peace; she wound up with my tolerance. Joshua, Melissa and Emma are all well. Chuck, Pat, Bob and Laurie are well (actually, they’re bouncing higher than the Mars Rover). All Great Grandparents [Papa and Nana (Eric & Wynn Tate), Grandma (Carol Henderson) and Mam-maw (Mildred Eastburn)] are doing better than bluebonnets in Brenham.”

Volleyball Coaches & Officials Clinic - Sept 10

Houston North is hosting the Volleyball Coaches & Officials clinic on Sunday, September 10, at Broze Hall. The clinic will start at 10:00 am. Ken Treybig is heading up the clinic and he would really like to encourage as many of our coaches and officials as possible to come. Potential referees and umpires are invited to come as well. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to sharpen our skills and to help new people get a foundation for officiating. Having our coaches there will also help us by making sure coaches understand the rules and know why officials make the calls they do. Refreshments will be provided, so we need an idea of how many will be attending. Please sign the list at the Information Table. If you have any questions, please see Elisa Hees.
