This year’s Winter Family Weekend in Louisville, Kentucky, will take place December 22-26. Make plans to come join 2,000 of your closest family and friends for four days of seminars, sports, music, dances and family fun and games. Anyone planning to attend that does not have computer access will need to pick up a registration form at the Information Table.

The UCG-Dallas Texas Young Adults will be hosting our annual President’s Day weekend Young Adult event, February 16-18. This year our theme is “Got Friends?,â€â€” how to form, grow and maintain Godly friendships. All young adults, both single and married, between the ages of high school graduates to 40 are welcome and encouraged to attend. Here is your opportunity to escape the snow and cold and have fellowship at the same time. A growing tradition over the past six years is the Midwest Family and Singles’ Club spring cruise. This year the group has partnered with the Los Angeles congregation to put forward a spring cruise featuring the California and Mexico coast. A delightful three-night weekend cruise February 23-26, will sail from Los Angeles on Royal Caribbean’s Monarch of the Seas.

The sale this year will take place at Strack Intermediate School (18027 Kuykendahl) from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 5. It would be greatly appreciated if all items be brought directly to the sale, as our storage garage is full. If you can not do this, please see Lisa Bentley to make arrangements. The Ladies Luncheon will be held this Wednesday at 11:30 am at Lori’s Lunchbox. The restaurant is located on Hwy 105 about 15 miles east of Conroe. See the Bulletin Board for directions or contact Trish Marshall 936-449-5920.
The first classes for the Growing Kids God’s Way program will begin the weekend of November 17. The Friday night class will begin at 7:00 pm and the next day’s class will be at 10:00 am. The class rosters can be viewed on the Bulletin Board.
The UCG Houston North Golf Classic will be played on Sunday, November 19. Tee time is 8:00 pm at the Cypresswood Golf Club (the Cypress Course) located at 21602 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77373 (www.cypresswood.com). Each player will receive a certificate for a free round of golf. Please send your entry fee of $55 to Robert Zamora at 12902 Regency Oak Ln., Cypress, TX 77429 no later than November 13. Don’t forget to use your Kroger share card when you shop. It costs you nothing additional and the church earns money on your purchases. This is an extremely easy fund raiser. Just place the share card in your wallet by your Kroger shopper’s card so both can be scanned at the same time. Earnings are split between the teens and the general fund. Please do your part to support the program. Cards are on the information table for anyone who needs one.
There will be a mid-week Bible Study this coming Wednesday evening, November 1 at the home of Brian and Suzanne Morgan in Magnolia. The Study will begin at 7:00 pm. Please see Brian or Suzanne if you need directions.
There will be a Teen Bible Study this coming Friday at Broze Hall beginning at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
