Media Library Volunteers

We need volunteers to help in the operation of the Media Library. There are opportunities in the areas of duplicating CDs, labeling, filing returned media and assisting brethren in checking out CDs. Here is a way you can actively serve the brethren and shut-ins.  If you are interested in helping out in the Media Library, contact Ivor Mitchell. Thanks to the young teens who drop in and ask if they can help. Older teens and young adults are encouraged to participate.

Bible Study Questions - Before the Ascension - April 14

Graduating Seniors Featured in United News

Congratulations! We would like to feature the 2007 high school graduates in a special section of the July United News. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions and send a photograph by June 11, 2007.
1. Graduate’s Name
2. Parents’ Names
3. Congregation and Pastor’s Name
4. High School Accomplishments
5. Church Activities/Hobbies/Interests (tell a little bit about yourself)
6. Plans After Graduation
7. Additional Comments (favorite quote, favorite scripture, motto,
advice, etc. Please identify which it is, so we don’t think your advice
is your motto, etc.)

Please include a phone number or e-mail address to confirm spellings, etc. (will not be printed). Please send this information with a recent photo (conforming with biblical standards of dress and hair length) of the graduate by June 11 by eMail (Mike_Bernett@ucg.org) or by mail (United News, P.O. Box 541027, Cincinnati, OH 45254-1027). We reserve the right to edit for clarity and length; 250-word maximum length.

2007 Feast of Tabernacles Registration - April 7-28

Successful planning for the Feast by Church staff is dependent upon accurate numbers of attendees in advance of the Feast. Therefore, we ask all heads of households to turn in a registration form between now and April 21. You may place your registration form in the box on the Information Table at Broze Hall, or hand it to David Buchanan (Houston) or Del Berger (Huntsville). If you have any questions regarding festival registration, please see David Buchanan.
Registration forms are in the current issue of the United News (the festival edition listing all UCG sites) or your festival adviser might have some extra forms. We anticipate everybody will be approved to their first choice, but Panama City Beach, Florida and Steamboat Springs, Colorado remain as restricted sites and there is a potential to be denied. Also, Anchorage, Alaska still has availability, but you must fill out the Anchorage application.

Preteen Camp

Applications for our South Central Regional Preteen Camp are now available online for campers as well as teen and adult volunteers. Activities will include swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts & crafts, Christian Living, recreation, as well as Camp Olympics and our traditional talent show. Throw in time together with each other . . . young and old . . . and you have a formula for FUN!

Information and applications are available on this website on the Preteen Camp page. The due date for applications (volunteer and camper) is TUESDAY, MAY 15TH. The cost for camp is $200.00 per camper. Scholarships and financial assistance are available . . . please see your local pastor.
