Feast Registration

Registration for the Feast of Tabernacles occurs on the Sabbaths of April 12, 19 and 26. Registration forms are in the current issue of the United News or Mr. Mark Sappington might have some extra forms. The current United News is the festival edition listing all sites sponsored by the United Church of God. Successful planning for the Feast by Church staff is dependent upon accurate numbers
of attendees in advance of the Feast. Therefore, we ask all heads of households to turn in a registration form between now and April 26. We anticipate everybody will be approved to their first choice, however Hawaii, Panama City Beach and Steamboat Springs remain restricted sites and there is a potential to be denied.

Summer Camp - May 1

Teens don’t forget to fill out your application for summer camp by the deadline of May 1st. Most camps are expected to fill and even have a waiting list so don’t delay. If anyone is in need of a camp scholarship to help with tuition, please see Mr. Servidio.

Church Building Activities

The Deacons and Elders have adopted a new procedure for securing the use of the Church building for activities other than the primary activities on the Sabbath. Primary Sabbath activities include services, Bible studies, special music practices, committee/team meetings and anniversary receptions conducted before or after services. Secondary uses for the Church building include, but are not limited to, activities conducted during the week, including Friday night, socials after the Sabbath, weddings and other receptions, and band and other group practices during the week. Those coordinating these secondary uses for the Church building are required to complete a Building Use Request Form, which are located at the Information Table. For a copy of the Building Use Procedure, see Richard Haughee.

Holy Day Offerings

Pre-labeled offering envelopes were mailed out several weeks ago. Please remember to put these in a place where you will remember to bring them along to the Holy Day services. It greatly reduces Cincinnati’s processing time when you use your personalized envelopes. Also, please remember to make all checks payable to “UNITED CHURCH OF GOD.”

Night to be Much Observed - April 19

Houston:
Night to Be Much Observed will be on Saturday evening April 19th. It has always been a very important church function, and in order to assure everyone has a place to go, two sign up lists have been placed on the Information Table. One list is for those who would like to invite guests and the other is for those who would like to receive an invitation. We hope this sign up helps facilitate insuring everyone has the opportunity to join with others.

Huntsville:
Huntsville will be having a Night to be Much Observed meal at the McKenzie’s Barbeque at 1706 11th Street from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. McKenzie’s is east of Golden Corral and on the same side of the road. It is in the same strip as Hastings, Tractor Supply, and Dollar Store. We have reserved the room on the right as you enter the restaurant. We will be ordering from their menu, but will be allowed to bring our own unleavened bread and desserts. McKenzie’s will not permit us to bring alcohol.
