For those who qualify for early housing for the Feast of Tabernacles, and are attending your local or assigned site, you may begin making reservations on Monday, May 12.

If you qualify for early housing and are transferring, you may begin making reservations on Monday, May 19.

The general membership begins registering on Sunday, June 1.

If you have a need to make early housing reservations, please consult with your pastor or festival adviser to review the guidelines.

For those transferring to Bend / Redmond, Jekyll Island, Kerrville, Steamboat Springs and Branson, there are some hotels which require a pass code for early reservations. Please see Mark Sappington or Mr. Servidio for the pass codes for Bend / Redmond, Jekyll Island, Kerrville, Steamboat Springs and Branson.

Plans are under way for the teen sponsored Dinner and Movie night on May 10th. A hamburger or hot dog meal and a movie ticket will be $5/person ($2.50/children 5 and under). Dinner will be served at 6:00. The movie will start as soon as it is dark with all your favorite movie snacks for sale. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket, mosquito repellant, and a flash light.

If you plan on attending, help us pick the movie! Ballots are available at the information table today. The descriptions of the five movie selections are included on the ballot.

There will be no services in Huntsville on the Sabbath of May 17th. Services will be combined at the Broze Hall for the GCE Hook-up.

It is almost here. Don’t forget to turn in your confirmation for the Friday evening meal so we are sure to have enough for everyone.
Also if you are not planning to arrive for dinner, but will be there for the weekend, please let Michele Gordon know. This will help us put together a list for all that are expected to attend.

There is a limited supply of the cookbook “Savoring the Sabbath” still available. If you would like a copy, please put your name on the sign-up list on the Information Table so that we can determine how many will be needed. The cost for each copy will be $16.00.

Preteen camp is Sunday, June 15th – 18th at High Pockets Ranch near Montgomery. Please go to www.highpocketsranch.com and view our new facility and to get maps. Applications for campers and volunteers are now available at www.ucg-houston.org/preteen-camp. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 16th. Houston North subsidizes its campers to keep the cost down, so the price for Houston North campers is $100, instead of the $200 listed on the website (which applies to all other campers). The age for campers is 7 or completed first grade.
